[Chiang Mai Elephant Care Experience] Mae Rim Elephant Home | 2-Hour Elephant Care

Put on traditional clothing and follow the sanctuary staff to learn about the daily life of elephants. From hand-feeding and herbal foot treatments to a forest walk and a river bath, create lasting memories of your Chiang Mai trip in just two hours.

• Aged 7 or above and adults: HK$365/person
• Children aged 4–6: HK$180/person
• Under 4 years old: Free of charge according to the sanctuary's official website. Please declare the number of children and their ages when booking.

Experience lasts approximately 2 hours. Times are in local Thailand time, which is 1 hour behind Hong Kong. Availability and time slots are subject to confirmation by the sanctuary.

🌿 Experience Details

1. Change into traditional Karen clothing and learn about elephant behavior and safety guidelines.
2. Hand-feed the elephants with fruit and learn how the staff communicates with them.
3. Participate in elephant herbal foot treatment.
4. Join the elephants for a walk in the forest.
5. Participate in a river bath under the guidance of the staff.
6. After showering and changing, enjoy Pad Thai and seasonal fruits.

Activities are subject to adjustment based on weather, river conditions, and the elephants' condition on the day. Final arrangements are at the discretion of the site. The sanctuary states that no elephant riding or performances are provided.

✅ Fee Includes

English-speaking staff guidance, experience clothing, fruit and sugar cane for feeding, lockers, towels and toiletries, Pad Thai, fruit, drinking water, and insurance as listed on the official website; coverage and terms should be confirmed with the sanctuary.
